OpaVoting Public Trial Terms

Limited Free Public Trial

The hosted OpaVoting public trial is an alpha evaluation service for trying the app before deciding whether to self-host it. Access may be limited, paused, or discontinued if abuse, maintenance, or hosting constraints require it.

Use Limits

Each user may participate in two hosted-trial workspaces. Each workspace allows 2 teams, 10 users, and 80 revealed rounds per calendar month (UTC), including vote-again reveals. Invitations do not reset usage. Collaborators can leave a workspace from Account settings under Workspaces; owners must use account deletion, which permanently purges their owned trial workspaces. Self-host for use without hosted-demo limits; capacity depends on your server.

No Confidential Data

Use synthetic or non-sensitive example data in this free, open-source evaluation service. Do not enter confidential, regulated, or sensitive production data. Account and voting information still receive the protections described in the privacy notice.

Account Deletion

Any normal user may delete their own account. Deleting an owner account purges its owned public-trial workspaces, teams, voting history and comments from the live database. Collaborators lose access to those workspaces; their own accounts and unrelated workspaces remain. Shared history elsewhere, operational records, backups and downloaded exports have the exceptions described in the privacy notice. Only platform-wide round and vote counts survive workspace deletion, without identifying details. Archiving a team is not deletion.
